Well, the nadir continues! Some signs of improvement but not much with the mucositis nor with the voice. At least I'm at home and can get out into the sunshine when it does appear!
Next post will be when I think real progress has been made, corners turned etc.

Some ups and downs this last week - some days of which were in UCLH getting my feeding regime right. Am told that just about now is the nadir - and I can fully understand that! Being in hospital with most people in a worse state than you is quite sobering. One of my problems is that I am very croaky so didn't have much chance of conversation.

Finally the treatment has finished. Had to stay in UCLH until this afternoon and it is a great relief to be home now on a fine March day. Still not pleasant and it will be a week or so till there is noticeable improvement, especially things that allow me to begin eating normally. So watch for another update.
