April 30. Workshop continues with a very enthusiastic group. Had a morning off to visit a few sites - here are some photos - one from the shrine to the famous Qing dynasty general Tang Li and one over part of the new city:

Dali is a very pleasant city - a picturesque old part and a new part of wide boulevards and little traffic. Started the workshop and here is a picture of participants. More to come.

Arrived in Dali 2 am Monday having started out 5 pm Saturday! Here is a snap of Barbara, Min and Steve filling up on the road to Dali at midnight.
